This made-for-cable TV biography stars Angelina Jolie as supermodel Gia Carangi. Arriving in NYC shortly after high school, Gia soon becomes an extremely popular model. She starts a lesbian affair with her photographer's assistant, Linda (Elizabeth Mitchell), and begins a life of drug addiction that results in a downward spiral, which includes AIDS. She died in 1986 at the young age of 26. The film received an Emmy Nomination and Angelina Jolie won a Golden Globe Award.
