An early CinemaScope film, this remake of "The Black Watch" is an enjoyable adventure ride. Captain Alan King (Tyrone Power) is a half-caste who leads a supply group to a British outpost in India. Tribal attacks, the proverbial love affair with the daughter (Terry Moore) of the outpost commander (Michael Rennie), and racial undertones all contribute to the story.
