In this animated, family comedy, race car Lightning McQueen (voice of Owen Wilson) is on its way to the Piston Cup Championships in California when it has an accident in Radiator Springs. The judge, Doc Hudson (voice of Paul Newman), orders Lightning McQueen to do community service, and in the process of trying to get out of work, Lightning bonds with some of Radiator Springs' inhabitants. Among the new acquaintances are the DA, Sally the Porsche (voice of Bonnie Hunt), and Mater the Tow Truck (voice of Larry the Cable Guy), Lightning learns a thing or two about what is really important. Elvis Presley plays racecar driver Steve Grayson in this story revolving around stock car racing. Steve's manager Kenny (Bill Bixby) bets Steve's money on losing horses and leaves Steve broke. Kenny also fouls up Steve's tax return, and IRS agent Susan Jacks (Nancy Sinatra) investigates. And the songs continue–11 songs in all include "Let Yourself Go," "Goin' Home," and "There Ain't Nothing Like a Song." As part of the racing scene, real-life racers Richard Petty and Cale Yarborough are featured.
