  A middle-aged couple, college professor Adam Evans (Anthony Hopkins) and his wife Karen (Shirley MacLaine), get involved in mate swapping with Pete Lachapelle (Michael Brandon) and his lover, co-ed Lindsey Rutledge (Bo Derek). When the four of them head off to Vermont for a skiing vacation, more than a few problems ensue.

  David Carradine is back in his role of Shaolin priest Kwai Chang Caine (from the earlier TV series) and wandering the countryside when he comes upon opium smugglers. Soon, Caine is involved in a martial-arts duel with Chung Wang (Brandon Lee, who is Bruce Lee's son), and, to Caine's surprise, he learns that Chung Wang is his own son. Another TV series followed.
