He tells his father Hal (Dabney Coleman), but Hal doesn't believe him and thinks that, once more, Davey is living out his fantasies. Davey enlists the aid of his imaginary friend Jack Sprat (also played by Coleman), but Jack cannot help this time. Now, Davey turns to his friend Kim (Christina Nigra) and they find themselves involved with real agents and crooks–all because a microchip is hidden in Davey's video game cassette.

F/X 2: The Deadly Art of Illusion   1991     2 stars    PG-13, 108 min.
Genre: Action
Director: Richard Franklin
Cast: Bryan Brown, Brian Dennehy, Rachel Ticotin, Joanna Gleason, Philip Bosco, Kevin J. O'Connor, Tom Mason, Dominic Zamprogna, Tony De Santis, Philip Akin

Special effects expert Rollie Tyler (Byran Brown) agrees (again) to help the police catch a killer. But he finds that there is a big conspiracy afoot, and he and his police buddy (Brian Dennehy) from the original film are on the run again. Lots of special effects, but the story is weak as it tries to exploit the popularity of James Bond.
