This TV miniseries is a good (and faithful) rendition of Robert Ludlum's novel.

As a solution, Larry and his fellow firefighter Chuck Levine (Adam Sandler), who just happens to be a womanizer, take part in a mock marriage to beat the system. After the fire department sends an inspector (Steve Buscemi) to investigate the "marriage," Chuck and Larry hire a lawyer, Alex McDonough (Jessica Biel). Alex believes their story and recommends that they go to Canada where they can be legally wed because in Canada gay marriage is legal. And, of course, gay jokes prevail throughout the film.

The story begins when D'Artagnan arrives in Paris wanting to follow in the footsteps of his father (Joss Ackland) who was a Musketeer. He meets and befriends Athos, Aramis, and Porthos and then joins in their efforts to defend Queen Anna (Geraldine Chaplin) from the scheming Cardinal Richelieu (Charlton Heston).

After her fiance is killed by the Apaches, Curtis has a guilt trip and acts as a decoy to get the Apaches out in the open. Good cast.

Architect Doug Roberts (Paul Newman) and builder James Duncan (William Holden) are hosting a party celebrating the construction of a 130-stories-tall office building and hotel in San Francisco. During the party, faulty wiring by subcontractor Roger Simmons (Richard Chamberlain) causes a spark that results in the building bursting into flames. As the building erupts, the guests are trapped in the building, and their fates rely on Fire Chief O'Hallorhan (Steve McQueen) to stop the fire and save their lives. The special effects are spectacular in this disaster film. An Oscar for Best Song went to "We May Never Love Like This Again." In addition to two other Oscars (Best Cinematography and Film Editing), the film was nominated for four others, including Best Picture and Supporting Actor (Fred Astaire for his role of con man Harlee Claiborne attending the party).
