Those who watched the series will get more out of the dialogue than the others who do not know much about the series' episodes.

That was a mistake, since they get involved in several misadventures, including running across childhood enemies and an escaped convict. Too poorly written and acted to be funny for these stand-up comedians, but it may appeal to those who liked the "Police Academy" series.
