The only highlight in Francis' (Aidan Gillen) wretched life seems to be evenings spent peeking through a fence hole at his luscious, vegetarian neighbor, Gloria (Emmanuelle Seigner). It isn't long before Francis and Gloria are engaged in an affair, but that doesn't stop Francis from spying and beginning to wonder who Gloria really is.
