  When gold is discovered in a small town in the West, gambler Jim Rodney (Francis Ford) plots to seize the claim. Rodney's henchmen Joe Tampas (Bud Osborne) and Lem Tampas (Merrill McCormick) murder an Indian woman as the means of inciting the Indians and scare away the townsfolk. His plan is working–until Buffalo Bill Cody (Tom Tyler) and his sidekick Dave Archer (Rex Bell) arrive with the U.S. Cavalry, and, after many efforts of Rodney to carry off his plan, Rodney is finally brought to justice.

Buck (Buck Jones) and Sandy (Raymond Hatton) guide the latest wagon train while Jack (Rex Bell) infiltrates the gang to end the raids once and for all. This is the popular Western actor Buck Jones' last film. He died in a Boston fire shortly before the film was released.
