Larry is a small-town sheriff (Larry the Cable Guy) who believes he has seen a kidnapping and rescues the "victim," Madeleine Dimkowski (Ivana Milicevic) from her kidnappers. But, there is a problem: her "kidnappers" are FBI agents assigned to protect her from villains plotting to kill her. Now, a team of FBI agents, led by Alonzo Mosely (Yaphet Kotto), are on the trail of Larry and Madeleine who are racing to reach Chicago where Larry plans to solve the case by himself.
