Vanessa (voice of Barbara Tyson) recounts her mother Serena's (Eva LaRue Callahan) tragic life in order to overcome her own tragedies. Serena, a European, gives up her family's fortune to marry Brad, a U.S. Colonel. When he dies, Serena has trouble making ends meet while caring for her daughter, Vanessa (Cecilley Carroll). But, photographer Vasili (Michael Lowry) comes into Serena's life, and she becomes famous. Tragedy strikes again when Vasili's secret is revealed. Made for TV.
