Terry Gilliam, who also directed "Time Bandits" and "Brazil," has created an enjoyable film based on the exaggerated war stories of a real-life, 18th-century baron (John Neville). Not only did he have amazing adventures all over the world, the good baron met the King of the Moon (Robin Williams), took a voyage into the heart of a volcano, and was swallowed by a sea monster.
