After a chance meeting with chess wizard Harry Jellinek (Erick Kastel), 25-year-old Alex Bordon (Christopher Denham) finds his intellect rising rapidly. At the same time, Alex suffers migraines, sees strange things in his dreams, and his acquaintances end up as victims of bizarre murders. Alex seeks help from Dr. Karen Murphy (Olivia Hussey) who has dealt with problems similar to those of Alex. But now, the killer seems to be setting up Alex as the next victim. Will Alex be able to use his increased brain power to stop the murders and mayhem?
