  Ruthless businessman Edward Lewis (Richard Gere) picks up streetwalker Vivian Ward (Julia Roberts) for a one-night stand, which turns out to be an entire week when he decides to use her as his partner for a number of business dinners. Like Cinderella, her transformation is a combination of new clothes–from Rodeo Drive shops–and her own natural appealing personality. Roberts received an Oscar nomination.
