Hawaiian wildlife veterinarian Henry (Adam Sandler) is a ladies' man who dates tourists knowing that they will not expect a commitment. Harry meets Lucy (Drew Barrymore) and, for the first time, falls in love. But there is a problem: Lucy suffers from short-term memory loss and, after a night's sleep, can't remember what happened the day before. So, day after day, Henry must begin at square one to win Lucy's love.
