Six years after "Saturday Night Fever," Tony Manero (John Travolta) is still trying to find success. Now, he has left the Brooklyn discos and finds a role in the Broadway show, "Satan's Alley." The show's star, Laura (Finola Hughes) becomes the object of Tony's attentions, but his loyal girlfriend Jackie (Cynthia Rhodes) stands by him throughout the sexual tensions of Tony and Laura while Tony becomes a Broadway star.
