Tom (Ethan Hawke), a shy teen, does not have the courage to ask next door neighbor Geena (Teri Polo) out on a date. But his handsome, successful older brother, Craig (Brian McNamara), does a make-over on Tom; Craig even calls Geena on Tom's behalf and provides his sports car for their evening pleasure. Events turn weird when people react to the couple, thinking that Tom is Craig, which is followed by finding a corpse in the trunk of Craig's car.
