Outside, while deciding what to do, along comes cabbie Jack (Randy Quaid) who convinces Michael to sell the dog rather than dispose of it. Thus begins a zany journey through town to sell the dog, with Jack quoting parables all the way while Michael wants to get back to Sarah.
