Peter Foster (Patrick Tierney) is 23 years old and still living at home in a dysfunctional family setting. Seeking help, the family goes to a clinic and undergoes video-tape therapy. One day at the clinic, Peter views the tape of an Armenian couple who gave up their son for adoption many years ago. Peter decides to flee his past, visit them, and pretend to be their son, Bedros Deryan.
