Her neighbors Roman and Minnie Castevet (Sidney Blackmer and Ruth Gordon) give Rosemary a strange potion to help her through the pregnancy. After their friend Hutch (Maurice Evans) tells Rosemary that Roman and Minnie are members of a coven of witches, Rosemary realizes that she is being victimized. Finally, Rosemary delivers a healthy baby–SATAN! Ruth Gordon won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.
