Poster Art From art.comMuscle Beach Party   1964     2 stars  User Rating      N/R, 94 min.
Genre: Musical
Director: William Asher
Cast: Frankie Avalon, Annette Funicello, Luciana Paluzzi, John Ashley, Don Rickles, Peter Turgeon, Jody McCrea, Peter Lupus, Buddy Hackett, Peter Lorre

In this sequel to "Beach Party," our beach buddies have a problem: a bodybuilding group–led by Don Rickles, of all people–has set up shop next to the beach. Lots of silly goings-on, but still some fun and upbeat songs. Peter Lorre made a guest appearance, which turned out to be his last film. Followed by "Bikini Beach."    1 User Review

See it for the musclemenCandy Kane 01/28/2007
Frankie and cranky Annette are annoying as usual, but the film includes such muscle studs as Peter Lupus as Mr. Galaxy, the biggest, strongest, handsomest, and most pec-tacular man on the beach, and Mr. Olympia Larry Scott, Mr. Universe Chet Yorton (second handsomest), and future Grizzly Addams star Dan Haggerty. Beach pal Bonehead could have joined the muscle troupe as well with a bit more training.
