  There is a flaw in the design of the spaceship, and as a means of protecting the reputation of NASA, mission controller Dr. James Kelloway (Hal Holbrook) stages a Mars landing that is never meant to take place. The astronauts–(James Brolin, O.J. Simpson, and Sam Waterston)–are removed from the spaceship before it is launched and taken to a studio where they must pretend to be on the journey to Mars. But, journalist Robert Caulfield (Elliott Gould) becomes suspicious and investigates the conspiracy, which will go so far as to end the astronauts' lives as the means of keeping the hoax a secret.

  While serving as an American bomber pilot during World War II, David Halloran (Harrison Ford) is in England where he meets and falls in love with Margaret Sellinger (Lesley-Anne Down) during an air raid. Margaret keeps the fact that she is married a secret. Later, David goes on a mission with British secret service agent Paul (Christopher Plummer)–who just happens to be Margaret's husband. After their plane is shot down over France, David realizes that Paul's wife is Margaret, but they must work together if they are going to find the means for survival.

  Yet another adaptation of the Alexandre Dumas novel comes to the screen in the story about D'Artagnan (Justin Chambers) striving to become a Musketeer like his father. As a child, D'Artagnan had witnessed the evil Febre (Tim Roth) killing his parents, and he arrives in Paris seeking to avenge his parents' deaths. D'Artagnan learns that the Musketeers have been disbanded by Cardinal Richelieu (Stephen Rea), and he searches for Musketeers Aramis (Nick Moran), Athos (Jan Gregor Kremp) and Porthos (Steve Spiers). During his search, D'Artagnan joins forces with Francesca (Mena Suvari), whose mother had served the Queen (Catherine Deneuve), and Francesca has remained close to her. By story's end, D'Artagnan prevents a war and falls in love with Francesca.

  In this comedy/action film, cool undercover policemen Ray Hughes and Danny Costanzo (Gregory Hines and Billy Crystal) set out to stop Julio Gonazales' (Jimmy Smits) drug trafficking in Chicago. But, after their boss Captain Logan (Dan Hedaya) chews them out for blowing the cover on the operation, they leave Chicago and take a forced vacation in Key West where they enjoy the sunshine. They have so much fun in Key West that they decide to retire–after they return to Chicago and put an end to Julio and his drug ring. Hines and Crystal play well off each other and make this an enjoyable movie.
