  A U.S. Army satellite carrying a virus from outer space has crashed on Earth. It has landed in a remote village in the Southwest and has killed everyone, except a crying baby and a wino. Top scientists gather at the site to figure out what is happening. After intense examinations, they isolate the organism–Andromeda Strain–that has caused the deaths. Now the race against time begins as the scientists attempt to find a cure before more people die.

  In this third installment of the "Witch Mountain" movies, those alien kids Tia and Tony (Tracey Gold and Andy Freeman) are on Earth helping their Uncle Ben (Noah Beery Jr.) search for his grandson, Gregory (Eric Aved). Their old friend Jason (Eddie Albert) once again comes to their aid, but then Jason is kidnapped by their nemesis from the past, billionaire Aristotle (Efrem Zimbalist Jr.), who wants to use Tia and Tony's telepathic powers to control the world. Tia and Tony rescue Jason, and, together, they race to find Gregory with Aristotle in hot pursuit.

Janet is married but separated from Howard (Mike Connors) and does not want to share the inheritance with him. Many complications arise when Sam's biggest client, Simon Nurdlinger (Edward G. Robinson), uses Sam and Janet as "the ideal married couple" in an ad campaign and features their pictures on billboards throughout the town.
