  This is the biography of St. Francis of Assisi (Graham Faulkner) who rejected material wealth after his spiritual revelation. Instead of drinking in bars, Francis spends his time meditating about the beauty of life. As a bitter man bent on revenge, Brynner manages to kill Long, but not before Long grabs the chemical and hands it off to Tim Mason (Skeet Ulrich) with instructions to keep it below 50 degrees. Enter Arlo (Cuba Gooding) and his ice cream truck; the chase is on with Brynner in pursuit.

"Cousin" Alec (Leigh Lawson) becomes Tess' lover, and Tess becomes pregnant but loses the baby. Now, Tess goes to work on a dairy farm where she falls in love with Angel Clare (Peter Firth), but more problems lie ahead. This film was nominated for Best Picture, Director, and Musical Score Oscars–and it won for Best Art Direction, Costume Design, and Cinematography.
