When the circus faces bankruptcy, Pee-Wee comes up with the idea, and they stage a three-ring spectacular–starring Pee-Wee.

But Ben's wife (Penelope Ann Miller) decides to head there too to see what's going on, including whether or not there is a son or just a rekindling of an affair. This comedy/drama is disappointing, especially considering the cast.

But, Carol is throwing Henry a surprise party, and she isn't crazy about Henry's plan. Soon they are joined by their friends (Christopher McDonald and Alex Meneses) and other party guests. Also arriving on the scene are a suspicious detective (Armand Assante) and a homicide detective (Kevin Sussman). Last, but not least, to join the party is Mr. Big (Zoltan Butuc) who has come to retrieve his $5 million.

So, when Betty Lou finds the murder weapon while walking the dog and can't get hold of Alex, she turns herself in as the murderess in order to get attention. During detention, her cellmate provides some assertiveness training, and the fun really begins. Miller's performance saves this otherwise so-so film.

Although mother and son have assumed different identities, Kimble is banking on the fact that getting close to the situation will lead him to Crisp. Phoebe has teaching credentials and plans to teach in the Astoria kindergarten class, but she gets food poisoning, and Kimble ends up going undercover as the kindergarten teacher.

Meanwhile, private investigator Lovecraft (Dennis Hopper) is hired to investigate an infidelity case. When the subject is a victim of a magic spell, Lovecraft, who is one of the few who refuse to use magic, must get to the bottom of the conspiracy before his employer (the victim's wife) is burned at the stake.
