  When a young nun (Frankie Thorn) is brutally raped in Spanish Harlem, a corrupt police lieutenant (Harvey Keitel) sees the errors in his own life and looks to Jesus as his savior. Meanwhile, Rebecca has been searching for her birth mother, and their lives cross when, in the course of the Rebecca's work, she is told about the D.J. called "Sleepy Time Gal." Good performances enhance this film.
