The Johnson family heads to Kenya to conduct research–to the dismay of their teenagers (Keith Coogan and Lucy Deakins). The teens meet a native boy (Collin Mothupi), and the adventures result in a change of heart. The trio finds a cheetah cub and care for it to maturity. Then it is time for it to return to the wilds, but the bad guys want to turn the cheeta into a dog racer. The teens must save the day in this nice Disney effort.
