This story begins in 1922 when 18-year-old Salvador Dali (Robert Pattinson) arrives at the university preparing to become an artist. He makes friends with Federico Garcia Lorca (Javier Beltran) and Luis Bunuel (Matthew McNulty), and they become the in-crowd of ultra-modernists in Madrid. Later, Luis goes to Paris, and Federico and Salvador spend time in Cadaques where, after sharing their beliefs and secrets, their relationship changes from platonic to intimate. Later, Salvador flees to Paris where he finds success as an artist.
