The story, however, also represents hope, for through it all Frank dreams of escaping his plight and moving to America.

It appears that the IRA also likes the wigs–as disguises.

Clara's kindly Grandmamma (Diana Rigg) teaches Heidi to read, but Heidi is still homesick for Grandfather, Peter, and the goats.
