Wrestling promoters Bud Jones (Bud Abbott) and Lou Hotchkiss (Lou Costello) are in Algeria searching for a missing star wrestler. Then, French Sergeant Axmann (Walter Slezak) tricks them into joining the French Foreign Legion, after which Bud and Lou expose Axmann as a traitor for his dealings with Sheik Hamad El Khalid (Douglass Dumbrille).
