Shoeshine adjusts happily to his new home, but Barsinister's potion has turned him into a dog with super powers. When Dan encourages him to use those powers for a worthy cause, Shoeshine dons a suit and cape and turns into Underdog vowing to protect the citizens of Capitol City–including, of course, that particular spaniel Polly Purebread (voice of Amy Adams). His medium will be film, and the story will be titled "The Man Who Got Away" with a plot involving a truck driver who runs over a little girl. Warburton's deadpan performance is entertaining.
