The story loosely follows the plot of David Mamet's play about sexual perversity in Chicago where Danny (Rob Lowe) and his coworker Bernie (James Belushi) spend their evenings at a local bar. One night, Danny becomes involved with Debbie (Demi Moore) who he ends up moving in with–for awhile, until they both find that domestication is not for them.
