When sailors arrive in Long Beach, Lt. Vic Donald (Pat Boone) and local resident Sally Hobson (Barbara Eden) fall in love. Soon, it is time for the ship to sail for the Aleutians, and Vic must leave Sally behind. One sailor, Shrieking Eagle Garfield (Buddy Hackett), brings a stowaway turkey on board and has more than a few problems hiding it from the captain, LCdr. Brian O'Gara (Dennis O'Keefe). When the ship does return to Long Beach, Sally smuggles herself aboard to be near Vic. Her actions are ill-timed because Cdr. Bintle (Gale Gordon) is arriving for an inspection. This is an entertaining musical comedy.    1 User Review
