After being kicked off L.A.P.D.'s Special Weapons and Tactics (S.W.A.T.) team, Jim Street (Colin Farrell) is given a second chance by Sgt. Dan "Hondo" Harrelson (Samuel L. Jackson) and joins a S.W.A.T. team escorting drug kingpin Alex Montel (Olivier Martinez) to a federal facility in the California desert. The team encounters many problems along the way–including Montel making an offer on live-TV of $1 million to anyone who can get him out of police custody. A well-made police action thriller.
