  John Lynch plays a mysterious man who takes on the identity of the Baptist minister, Frans Niemand (Serge-Henri Valcke), after he accidentally kills him. Next, he leaves Niemand's corpse in a quarry and travels to the South African township where the Rev. Niemand's new parishioners await him. The deception works–for awhile.
