When one of Santa's (voice of Ed Asner) reindeers breaks a leg, Santa announces he will be relying on "all of the other reindeer." But one dog–Olive (voice of Drew Barrymore)–thinks she hears, "Olive, the other reindeer." Believing that Santa has called on her for help with Christmas Eve deliveries, Olive and her penguin friend Martini (voice of Joe Pantoliano) head for the North Pole.
