A film documenter, Andrew (Andrew Gurland), foots the bill for Adrian (Adrian Martinez) to get a Burmese mail-order bride, Lichi (Eugenia Yuan), in exchange for being allowed to film the union. But all does not go as expected when Lichi finds Adrian less than she hoped for, and she becomes involved with Andrew in this story containing more than a few twists and turns.
