He has a torrid affair with a stranger (Eva Marie Saint) during a train ride while eluding the agents. The chase takes place from New York City, through Midwest corn fields, and culminates at the top of Mount Rushmore in South Dakota's Black Hills. One of Hitchcock's and filmdom's greats. The film was nominated for three Academy Awards: Best Art Direction-Set Direction, Film Editing, and Writing.
