The barometer indicates that a huge wave will sweep the island, so Gilligan (Bob Denver) and crew prepare to ride it off the island and out to sea. The plan works, after a rescue by a Navy helicopter, and they arrive in Hawaii. Civilization has changed, and it is not easy to adjust–especially with those Russian spies looking for the barometer.
