Unhappily married Adrienne (Diane Lane) is spending time alone at a friend's Rodanthe, North Carolina, beachfront inn while her husband Jack (Christopher Meloni) and children (Mae Whitman and Charlie Tahan) go off on vacation. Jack and Adrienne have been apart for months, and Jack has just told her that he wants to come back, but Adrienne isn't sure she wants to go along with that plan. The only other guest at the inn is divorced surgeon Paul (Richard Gere), and, as Adrienne and Paul talk, they become very interested in each other. Romance blooms just as a hurricane approaches, and by the end of the storm, their lives are changed. But, are they really ready to make a fresh start? 1 User Review

one of the most captivating movies I have ever seen

I loved the story, characters, settings, scenery, wild horses and I plan to tell others and to see it again.
