  This made-for-TV remake of Fritz Lang's 1941 film, "Man Hunt," is set in 1939 before the British went to war against Germany. Big-game hunter Sir Robert Thorndyke (Peter O'Toole) fails in an attempt to shoot Hitler. Thorndyke is captured, tortured, and left for dead. He survives and heads back to England, but the Gestapo is on his trail, so he must go underground to do battle with his enemies.
