The Blues are back as Elwood Blues (Dan Aykroyd) again tries to aid Mother Superior Mary Stigmata (Kathleen Freeman) in her quest for funds for a children's hospital. Elwood heads for New Orleans hoping to reunite the band and enter the New Orleans' Battle of the Bands. Tower of Terror 1997 TV, 89 min. Genre: Family
Director: D.J. MacHale Cast: Steve Guttenberg, Nia Peeples, Michael McShane, Amzie Strickland, Melora Hardin, Alastair Duncan, Lindsay Ridgeway, John Franklin, Wendy Worthington, Kirsten Dunst
This Disney production is based on its Disneyworld ride by the same name. There's a mystery behind the old hotel where five people disappeared in the 1930s', and reporter Buzzy Crocker (Steve Guttenberg) is out to uncover what happened. There are plenty of twists and turns (and "startles") to keep your attention. Not great, but could be fun for the older youths.
