But, when Henry is injured during the London Blitz, Sarah feels guilty and vows to return to Henry if his life is spared. He survives, and Sarah ends the affair and returns to Henry. Based on the Graham Greene novel and remade in 1999 starring Julianne Moore and Ralph Fiennes.
