Joe knows that his boss, who is also his father-in-law Lord Ackerman (Harry Andrews), will not be happy if he does. Meanwhile, Joe's marriage falls apart, and Joe enters into a love affair with Lord's wife Alex (Nanette Newman). And Joe's problems continue.
