  While on an online search for a getaway, British wedding correspondent Iris Simkins (Kate Winslet) and Los Angeles movie trailer editor Amanda Woods (Cameron Diaz) discover each other and trade houses for the holidays. Amanda's life picks up when Iris' brother, Graham (Jude Law), appears on her doorstep. Meanwhile, Iris begins a relationship with sound-track editor Miles (Jack Black) and befriends screenwriter Arthur Abbott (Eli Wallach). These events are destined to change the lives of both Iris and Amanda.

  This delightful remake of 1961's "The Parent Trap" features Lindsay Lohan as the twins, Hallie Parker and Annie James, who meet for the first time in summer camp and plot to reunite their parents (Dennis Quaid and Natasha Richardson). This version is every bit as good as the original.

Chemistry develops between Harry and Erica, and the young doctor (Keanu Reeves) treating him also takes a romantic interest in Erica. Good moments in this one. Diane Keaton was nominated for a Best Actress Oscar.

  Chicago advertising executive Nick Marshall (Mel Gibson) loses out in the selection for a top job in his agency. Instead, Darcy Maguire (Helen Hunt) wins the spot. Nick survives a freak hair dryer accident and discovers that he can now hear what women think. At first, he uses this new power to his own benefit–he is especially effective at stealing Darcy's ideas and using them as his own. Later, when he begins to sympathize with problems women encounter, he finds himself falling in love with Darcy.
