  Written by Paddy Chayefsky, this is the story of a rowdy bachelor party thrown for quiet bookkeeper Arnold (Philip Abbott) on the eve of his wedding. The only other bachelor in the group, Eddie (Jack Warden), has planned the bash that includes hitting bars and a porn theater. During the course of the evening, the married men–Walter (E.G. Marshall) and Charlie (Don Murray)–reveal their own marital difficulties, and Charlie must decide whether or not to cheat on his wife with a beatnik (Carolyn Jones) who he meets at a Greenwich Village party. By the end of the bachelor party, the guest-of-honor as well as the party givers are affected by their night of revelry. Carolyn Jones was nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Oscar.

  Based on Henry James' novel, this is the story of young feminists in the late 1800s who find their quest for equality is not going to be an easy fight. Lesbian suffragette Olive Chancellor (Vanessa Redgrave) engages in a tug-of-war with Basil Ransom (Christopher Reeve) when they both pursue young Verena Tarrant (Madeleine Potter). Basil is in love with Verena, but Olive wants to use Verena's connections to promote the suffragette ideology. Emotions flare when decisions must be made between love and fighting for the cause of equal rights. Redgrave received an Oscar nomination for her performance.

After being bumped from the police force, Drebin gets help from Ludwig's ex-girlfriend Jane (Priscilla Presley) in his search for answers. The trail leads to a baseball game where Reggie Jackson has been programmed with a mind control device that will make him kill Queen Elizabeth II during her visit to America. The finale at the baseball game is a near classic.
