Tree (Dan Aykroyd) is assigned the job of installing a 40mm anti-aircraft gun in homeowner Ward Douglas' (Ned Beatty) backyard. When California is attacked, Hollywood Boulevard lies in ruins, and craziness is experienced by the military and civilians as well. Special effects really help this film.

RoboCop steps in amidst the mercenary army that is harassing the inner-city citizens and comes to their aid when their homes are scheduled to be demolished to make room for the new development.
