When Bill (Denis Leary) awakens from a coma and tries to piece together what has happened, Dr. Anne Johnson (Hope Davis) is sent in to evaluate whether or not Bill should be released from the hospital. Bill believes that he was frozen in a cryogenic experiment, and, as Anne listens to Bill's stories about his parents (Madison Arnold and Caroline Kava) and his girlfriend Sherry (Marin Hinkle), they almost succeed to put the puzzle pieces together during therapy sessions.
