Nick (William Powell), Nora (Myrna Loy), and Asta are back in another delightfully clever film in which one of Nora's upper-crust relatives, Thelma (Elissa Landi), might have murdered her husband. Nick investigates, and other murders take place–until Nick gathers everyone together and names the killer. William Powell and Myrna Loy are incomparable as Nick and Nora Charles, and Asta, of course, is the terrier with an attitude.
