In this sequel to "Airport," billionaire art collector Philip Stevens (James Stewart) is flying VIPs and his valuable art to a museum when his plane, piloted by Don Gallagher (Jack Lemmon), crashes and sinks 200 feet under the Bermuda Triangle. Hijackers have used sleeping gas to knock out the travelers in an effort to steal the art collection, and gas has caused the plane to crash. The passengers survive, but water is flooding the plane, and rescue efforts will not be easy.

IF YOU KNEW HIS TRUE FRIENDS THEY WERE ''NORMAL PEOPLE'' OR ACTORS/ACTRESSES WHO DIDN'T PLAY THE '' HOLLYWOOD SCENE''. MY FATHER GREW UP WITH BOTH JACK AND JOYCE AND DIDN'T SUFFER FOOLS. HE WASN'T IMPRESSED WITH CELEBRITIES NOR DID JACK. DADDY'S FAVORITE 'MOST DOWN TO EARTH, INTELLIGENT, GENUINE ARTICLE' WAS PAUL NEWMAN, ONE OF JACK'S BEST FRIENDS.
